The Northern Cape Tourism Authority (NCTA) joined the Provincial Department of Economic Development and Tourism in celebrating former president Nelson Mandela's birthday on the 18th July by contributing their time to the community of Norvalspont, 30km on the outskirts of Colesberg town in the Karoo region. Food parcels were also donated to the community of Umsombovu Municipality.
The Northern Cape Province is pulling out all the stops to wow visitors to Africa’s leading travel trade show in Durban from 7 – 9 May. At the 2016 INDABA, the Northern Cape will showcase not only their exceptional leisure tourism opportunities, but also their burgeoning incentive travel portfolio.
The newly completed 15 pages e-learning module about the Northern Cape has been launched and uploaded on the e-learning website of Travelution, etraveltraining.nl. Travelution is currently the market leaders in the Benelux, and other key European and UK markets with their e-learning modules.
The Northern Cape Tourism Authority has launched their mobi guide for both Android and iPhones. The Guide will heighten awareness of how unique and distinctive the Northern Cape brand and tourism offering within the Northern Cape is. It will further assist in positioning the Northern Cape as authentic and relevant within our customer’s worldview. Our brand will connect with potential customers and form positive emotional bonds with them, while strengthening our customer relationships and encouraging improved desired outcomes; such as, the increase in tourism visitors and revenue derived from tourism.
