Quad Biking

Powering up sand dunes in the Kalahari as fast as possible, to see how high one can get before zooming down again is one of the many exilirating ways of enjoying a quad bike. But if riding your own dedicated fun machine across endless sand dunes is not your cup of tea, there are many different scenic rides across the province. There are streams, hills and riverbanks to be explored and guided trips of different duration.

You don’t need to be fit to ride a quad bike, but like with most outdoor activities, it helps make the activity a whole lot more enjoyable. The machine does most of the work, but you’ll still be using your upper torso a whole lot and you’ll be amazed what gripping the handle bars too tightly can do to your arm muscles over an extended period. So bear this in mind before signing up for a 2-day Quad Biking Safari. They are  easy to ride unlike a motorbike, you don’t have to learn to balance and once you’ve mastered the fairly simply basics of steering and stopping, you’re ready to go.

There are a number of tour operators that offer quad biking, such as Liquid 360 Adventures that have the following trips 1.5 Hour Trip, Half-day or Full-day Quad Bike Outings and the 2-day Quad Biking Safari.
