The Green Kalahari Canoe Marathon takes place on September 18 and 19, starting in Upington and ending in Kakamas.

The race is 75 kilometres in length, and boasts some amazing scenery. There is a R300,000 prize pot this year, and the race line up is set to include Czech stars Kamil Mruzek and Jakub Adam, who won last year’s event, as well as former Dusi Canoe Marathon winners, Sbonelo Eric Khwela and Thulani Mbanjwa.
