“Peaceful. Quiet. Zen.”

This is how a visitor described Upington when they touched down for a Sho’t Left tour recently. Sho’t Left is a local tourism initiative aimed at getting South Africans to explore the attractions Mzansi has to offer.

The “My 1st Sho’t Left Tour” saw house music group Mi Casa, together with journalists and media personalities, head to Upington for an epic weekend getaway from 13 to 15 March 2016.

The group explored Upington and its surrounding areas and soaked up what this Northern Cape town has to offer in all its cultural, artistic, culinary and natural glory.

From the Kalahari-Oranje Museum and wine tasting at Orange River Cellars, to donkey cart rides, lunch, shopping sprees at Currie's Camp and a hike at the impressive Augrabies Falls, the tour proved to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
