Last year the festival, an annual event that takes place on 15 April this year, attracted over 8 000 revellers from the Northern Cape, Gauteng, North West, Botswana and Namibia.

This year’s installment is just as highly anticipated, and with good reason – the stellar line-up includes Zonke Dikana, Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse, Judith Sephuma, Ringo and Ernie Smith, to name a few.

In addition to the live music, in the days leading up to the festival there will be arts and culture workshops led by some of the festival's performers, many who are maestros in the music game.

Attendance at the workshops is free, but those who wish to attend must register here.

The workshops will take place at the Mothibistad Multipurpose Centre from 10 to 13 April.

Tickets to the Kgalagadi Jazz Festival cost R200 per person, and VIP tickets cost R800.
